My name is Emily Robinson, and I am a woman who wears many hats. I live in San Luis Obispo, CA. After years of jumping from one industry to another, I chose to go to beauty school in 2011 to complete the 600 hours required to become an esthetician. Although I found beauty school itself to be a total drag, I fell in love with the subject of skin care and soaked up knowledge from as many sources as possible. Upon completion of beauty school, I found a small studio for my work and launched Face to Face Skincare and Massage. Fast forward to 2020; and Face to Face Skincare and Massage has expanded to three treatment rooms and three employees.

The main objective of my business (besides making a living doing something I love) is to educate my clients. Our skin is our largest organ and most people don’t know much about this important organ. Unfortunately, with only three treatments rooms and three employees, we are only able to reach so many people. My hope is that this blog offers me the chance to reach more people, offer them a better understanding of their skin and how to keep it healthy.
